in the bay of Lagos, which is a superb sailing ground. The bay is sheltered from the so called “Nortada”. The Nortada is the Portuguese north trade wind, which blows normally between June and September. This makes the Bay of Lagos sheltered from the wind and therefore there are hardly any high waves. Can you imagine, with a fresh northwesterly breeze, not much sea and than you feel the boat speeding. Just using the wind!! This is a fabulous feeling. To sail a boat is to be in touch with nature and the elements, enjoying the splendor of the coastline while sliding through the ocean, listening nothing but the water and wind.

Our skippers are also instructors and they are happy to let you sail the boat. We can make sure that one of our staff and/or crew can speak to you in your own language (English/Dutch/Portuguese/German).
