Southwest Charters is willing to provide their usual and new clients a new way to enjoy the Algarve’s sea in style. Either you are a skilled sailor, a water sports lover or if you just want to visit and see the Algarve coastline in fast and fun boats, Southwest Club will have the perfect solution for you.
Through an annual fee, members can enjoy more days and more time in the water in the chosen boat. The annual fee is paid in front and valid for a period of one year, being a fixed cost, so no extra surprises on the budget.
The boats are maintained by SWC professional staff, which insures that your boat is going to be ready and in pristine conditions when you come down to sail away. SWC primer objective is to provide the members more time in the water enjoying the sea and less time dealing with bureaucracy, fees, cleaning, etc. Leave the hard work on us!
Southwest Club is a new concept designed to make the members feel “at home” every time they go out with our fleet. In way to increase the alternatives, 3 packages have been developed: Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Why joining SWClub?
Most boats are used only for a few weeks per year, sitting in the marina for the rest of the year, costing both time and money to the owner. This represents a huge amount of money (insurances, cleaning, marina fees, etc) and diverts people from owning a boat and going out to sea.
By joining SWClub, the members have the opportunity to use our boats for the period of time they choose (and need) without the time and money consuming activities that come with boat ownership. In sum the costs are fixed and much reduced and the time spent on the water is maximized.
Members will also enjoy discounts of up to 10% in other SWCharters’ services.

- Engine: Perkins 60hp (Tank Diesel: 200L)
- Capacity: 12 Persons
- Cabins: 2 double, 2 w/ bunks
- Equipment: 2 WC w/ shower, galley w/ gas stove and oven, fridge and icebox, hot water (2x300L), spray hood, dinghy with engine 3hp, GPS, Radar, VHF, Autopilot, Stereo.

- Engine: Honda BF150 hp (4 stroke)
- Capacity: 12 Persons
- Equipment: “Bimini” cover, GPS/sonar, VHF, Sun bed, ski pole.
- Optional: Ski, Ring, Wakeboard
All boats are kept in excellent usage conditions and fully equipped with all the rescue gear according to the present legislation. They are also fully insured.
What are my options when joining SWClub?
SWClub is presented in the following options/packages: Silver, Gold and Platinum 
Are there any other costs to be considered?
Over the low cost for the annual membership, there is a security deposit of 1.500€, which will be returned at the end of the contract. This is the maximum amount charged to a member in case of accident.
The fuel costs are in charge of the member.The boat is waiting for you with the tank full of fuel and she needs to be returned also with a full tank of fuel.
When the member does not have the required license to drive or sail the boat or just want to relax on the boat without being on the helm all the time, we can organize for you one of our experienced and highly qualified skipper and/or crewmember, so you do not have to worry at all. Just let us know so you can enjoy your day on the water to the fullest.
The cost for a skipper is for half a day € 60,-- and for a full day € 120,--, while the cost for a crewmember is for half a day € 30,-- and for a full day € 60,--.
Can I split the membership costs with a friend/ familiar?
SWClub is designed to allow the total costs to be split between several people. The days of the package must also be split between the interested people.
Can I pass the rights of usage to another person?
If you want to give days from your package to a friend, the member must be always aboard. The person in charge of the boat must comply with all the current legislation for operating pleasure craft.
When can I use the boat?
The boat will be available during the entire year, however, due to the low prices practiced, in August the utilization of the boats are limited as follows:
Silver – 0 days
Gold – 3 days
Platinum – 5 days
You must reserve the days you plan to use the boat by contacting SWCharters (email or phone) with a minimum of 2 days in advance.
You will be given access to an online calendar where you can confer the available days of the boat.
The daily hours to use the boat are from 10.00 till 17.00 hrs. You can also use the boat for half a day, which hours are from 10.00 till 13.00 hrs or from 14.00 hrs till 17.00 hrs.
